Urinary incontinence is a condition that can have many causes. Not only age, but also other factors can underlie it.These factors include endocrine, births, surgeries, muscle weakness, injuries and side effects of medicines. Incontinence is a difficult problem, often accompanied by shame.

Three forms are distinguished:

1. Urge incontinence

2. Stress incontinence

3. Mixed Incontinence

Consult your doctor / therapist for a proper analysis.

Urge incontinence is characterized, among other things, by the need or necessity to urinate frequently every 24 hours and / or difficulty emptying the bladder, possibly in combination with pain in the pelvic floor region.

In urge incontinence, TRANS therapy is successful in many people. TRANS uses a small portable device, the BioStim M7 neuromodulator. Via skin electrodes at the ankle, the device sends small electrical signals to a nerve, the tibial nerve, which transmits the signals to nerves in the lower part of the spinal cord, the so-called sacral nerves, which in turn are responsible for the control and control of the bladder.

It has been found that through some form of electrical stimuli in specific patterns, the bladder responds positively in many people, solving or significantly reducing problems (incontinence and pain).

Equipment: BioStim M7 / TRANS

Contraindications: Patients with mechanical obstruction, such as urethral stricture, benign prostatic hypertrophy or cancer, should not be treated with TRANS.
